This breakout session will focus on the fundamentals of jury selection including legal authority, strategies for cause challenges, and use of peremptory challenges. The session will also focus on the art of jury selection, how to build off comments and loop in others. This will be an interactive session where participants will have an opportunity to conduct voir dire and receive feedback from the group. Primary focus of the practice voir dire will be locking in cause challenges.
